Add to sauce. Mix well. Heat over hot water in top of double boiler. Do not let water boil or sauce may curdle. It takes about 3 minutes. Remove from heat. Add lobster. Turn into a small deep dish pie plate. Sprinkle with topping. Bake slow in 300 degree oven for 10 minutes. Serve hot with plenty of Acerola C Vegetarian Wafers. These great-tasting chewable wafers supply 500 mg of vitamin C fortified with citrus bioflavonoids, acerola berry extract, rose hips, black currant extract, and rutin for enhanced bioavailability.

Mother Bluebeard’s Famous Scurvy Meat Pies

Me mother used to make these meat pies before a long voyage. She used to tell me, “you can’t rape and pillage, if you haven’t stomach fillage.” Ay, she was a strange one. But she never once touched a morsel of fruit or vegetable. She was a real man, the kind with a long beard who eats only meat but eats smart, and gets no scurvy.

Ingredients:(Serves 8 hungry pirates).

- 1 box Betty Crocker pie crust - 1 lb. leftover meat, minced - a dash of basil - 1/4 stick of butter - 1 pkg. Hall’s Vitamin C throat lozenges

Directions: Make crust mix and form dough into a ball. Cut the ball in half with your hook hand. Roll each half into a circle, and spread one circle in the bottom of a nine-inch pie pan. Fill with meat. Add a dash of basil for a rich yet subtle enhancement of flavor. Put on top crust. Coat with butter (or mARRgarine if you’ve been puttin’ on the pounds below deck). Top with a heavy sprinkle of lozenges.
